Covid 19 (Coronavirus/CV) We willsurvive this.....(or die trying to) (week 4)

SOOOOOO, week 4 begins....

DAY 22 - Tuesday 7th April 2020

HAHA! Oh yes this is SOOOOO true. The only difference is that i know how to return (even if my name isn't called! lol)
. AND more to the point i can't run.
The cat still hasn't returned, we've been out looking for him and we have called him but no luck. I'm going to post on FB tomorrow to see if anyone has seen him or knows his wearabouts (dead or alive, hopefully alive!)

This is correct, all days seem to be merging into one, no idea what day it is (unless i check on phone). The kids are the same and i'm sure we've asked each other 100 times today what day we are on. I know other people have said the same thing.

B has burnt off some of his energy bouncing on the bouncy castle today. K has resorted to talking to himself (he says that his friend is also on the same game as him and they are talking to each other!) I'm not sure, i think madness has kicked in. J has been in hiding again, he has declared he shouldn't be on lockdown as he makes a mess (biscuit crumbs all over himself, my sofa and floor!!!) Pink gin has made another appearance today, purely cos i felt like it. We have coloured some slogan pics and posted through the doors of the elderly neighbours, hopefully it makes them smile.

DAY 23 - Wednesday 8th April 2020

LOL! To be fair to them, they have been good and have done school work etc.

Oh yes, the next 2 pics sum up the day perfectly! The little witch was on one at 4:30am, high as a kite chasing her imaginary friend round my house and bedroom, and using my bed and me as a springboard! When i told her to do one, she climbed on my face and wouldn't go away. Then as if on que the birds started singing their bloody heads off!

REALLY???? Do you all think your funny? Cos I don't! Today has been brought to you by coffee! Sleep is for the weak!

There's still no sign of magic, he's been called loads. I'm hoping nothing has happened to him. We've looked on our walks but had no luck. I've put it out on FB asking people to keep an eye out for him when they are out and about, and even said if you have taken my cat please return him and no questions will be asked! We just want our pet back where he should be. There has been a cat fitting his description wandering around the the next housing estate (30 mins walk for human to get to), J is going to look and see if it's him tomorrow.

Pink gin has been consumed again, but my head is all over the place with stuff online linked to CV19, the cat missing, not seeing my friends, i sooooo can't wait for this to all end.

DAY 24 - Thursday 9th April 2020

Yes i'm pretty sure my cats have thought this. Magic is still missing in action. The sightings don't seem to have been him.

HAHA yea, think this is Mums all over the UK at the moment!!! Most people stocked up on toilet rolls, but the cleaver Mums bought alcohol! I didn't buy any as my cupboard always has something in it!

I've not done much today as in pain with knee, a lot of pain! I even went back to bed for a few hours.

DAY 25 - Friday 10th April 2020

GONE FISHING!!! i guess that this is what some people maybe doing right now. I no longer have a fish tank so i can't fish in it, i do have a pond that made for a frog found in the garden last summer and after i spent nearly £200 on pond stuff including proper plastic pond, filter and plants the frog disappeared and the pond is full of algea! BUT i guess gone fishing is better than gone mad!

Well it's sad but true! My hands have had more alcohol than my mouth has over the past 4 weeks, and i'm sure that the next few will be the same, and considering i used to be out partying 3-4 nights a week that's saying something.

I have to admit my hands are becoming so dry and rough from the hand gel/sanitiser stuff. Even after applying hand cream it doesn't seem to be making any difference to them. It's horrible. I have got a couple of patches of dry cracked skin and boy does that hurt when the hand gel catches it! My son M has the same problem but his skin is cracking a lot worse than mine is bless him.

There was excitement in the neighbourhood today, loads of banging and shouting, i thought it was a domestic so went upstairs to look out the window, no it wasn't a domestic but the police with a battering ram trying to break down the door of the old guy's house behind mine. They succeeded in breaking the door and got in the house. They exited and donned PPE masks, gloves and aprons and went back inside. An Ambulance response car and Ambulance turned up, again all with PPE on. Many of the neighbours were outside watching what was going on. The ambulance left with no-one taken in it, the ambulance car stayed for a bit longer but left. The police were at the house for about 2-3 hours. I have no idea what has happened but hope the guy is ok. This is the most entertainment we've had since the police arresting a guy about a week ago.

I've sorted out the easter egg trail/hunt for B to do on sunday. He has to follow the clues to find the next egg and clue (the eggs are the mini wrapped ones about 2cm in size - open mouth and swallow!) The older 2 didnt want to take part.

DAY 26 - Saturday 11th April 2020

Oh yes! jeans? leggings? ball gown? pjs? YEP pjs it is. I don't think any of the neighbours would be shocked to see me outside in anything - pjs is common dress code amongst most of the neighbours. It's something else when your bin goes out more than you do! Oh well.

Done some on family tree today and the site kept crashing again, it's done this alot the past few days. it's getting annoying.

J didnt emerge from his bed until 5pm, he then had "BREAKFAST" as he had only just got up. lazy sod.

No fighting or arguing has taken place, no one has cried, no one has totally lost it, no voices or imaginary friends and no more robots have appeared. Life is as normal as it gets.

DAY 27 - Sunday 12th April 2020

Today is Easter Sunday. I did an egg hunt round the house and garden for B, the other 2 didn't want to take part, but were quite happy to have eggs from it! What a surprise! It took B over half an hour to find them all indoors, outdoors, upstairs, downstairs and repeat lol. They all got 24 mini chocolate eggs (the size of grapes), a mini chocolate bunny paw and a chocolate soldier (left from Christmas) and a smarties egg. Plus a gift that they have already had - B got a thomas tank boat toy that he can use with his mini trains, K got games for his pc and J got a small (but very loud) speaker. P came and cooked us all a roast diner.

Today is day 279065 (or so it seems) of isolation - also known as day 27! I can see what this post means, but i have to say i'm lucky in that my dog doesnt and hasnt chewed the furniture, i know that dogs do do this when they are bored.

The weather has gone from cold to nice and sunny and then to cloudy and really windy, to the extent my hedge is going sideways with it.

DAY 28 - Monday 13th April 2020

This just about sums life up in this house at the moment. J and K seem to think we're open all hours and they can stay up/awake until 2-3am and not emerge from their pits until 1-2pm! Money has been spent, but luckily 2moro is pay for me, so we will be ok again.

Me and B have sat and sorted some work for him to do this week (alongside whatever his teachers set for him to do). We have decided we are going to do some work linked to CV19 - newspaper articles, stuff linked to the NHS, our local area etc. Then later in the week it is the anniversary of The Titanic, so we have some work linked to that and are going to watch the movie of it. And next week is the Queen's birthday so we are going to send her a letter and do some work linked to her.

B has been out on the bouncy castle again, he loves it, was so worth getting. I've tried to buy them a trampoline BUT everywhere seems to sold out online. Ive asked the boys dad to see if B&M has any when he does the shopping, as that means he can just go and bounce without having to wait for his brothers to get up and put bouncy castle up for him.

This is sooooo funny yet so true, it all started by an idiot in China thinking it was a good idea to eat a BAT! That started a huge virus and when it spread quickly round the world people started panic buying toilet roll and we were all put in quarantine and lockdown and started going crazy!

Skitty-Kitty is still just that, nice and calm 1 minute and claws at close distance and drawing blood the next. She's a total psycho! Magic still hasn't returned, its been 8days now, but on a good note none of the vets have had him taken there (dead or alive).

Today marks the end of week 4 for us, dome days seem to have gone quickly and others seem to have dragged and merged together. But we have survived this far.
