Oh yes, I know the feeling well....  DAY 43821 (aka 43) Tuesday 28th April 2020 Yep this is life as we know it at the moment. Anything out of the ordinary every curtain in the street is twitching or they are all out in their gardens to see what is going on. This certainly is a strange time. Things haven't been too bad today, but even so I have decided that i no longer want to be an adult and i'm going into hiding under a blanket fort (possibly known as my bed!) The weather is horrid and wet so the kids can't even go outside to burn off excess energy. This also means we can't go out and put up flags and stuff ready for VE Day. The kitten is back to being possessed by the devil, the eldest is still learning about hibernation (known as sleeping!) B has done his school work and is bored and K has done his work and is killing zombies again. There's no news on when things are going to change yet. From Amy Johnson Crow - I've been asked if this theme means a will (as in the probate document) or will (as in being determined or strong minded). Maybe you've come across an interesting will. Explain it like you would to a non-genealogist. What story does it reveal? You could write about an ancestor who was determined to do something. (Or maybe you have an ancestor named Will!) Do you have an ancestor who left an interesting will? Have you used a will to solve a problem? Or, what ancestor showed a lot of will in his or her actions?  I did think of writing about a “ will ” linked to 1 of my ancestors but most that I have found only left a small amount of money so nothing really exciting. The best I could come up with linked to it is from my own experience of “When there’s a “ will ” there’s always relatives (you hardly ever see or don’t even know) crawling out of woodwork like insects!!!” Anyway, I decided to use my paternal Grandfather “ Wil l iam” Liddle Lackey.

VE DAY 75years anniversay May 8th 2020 This year marks 75years of VE day, and we will be celebrating it. I will amend this post as and when things get sorted over the next few days etc.  For the time being i am adding this picture/document I have made linked to my Grandad Reg and his time in the army. For the theme of “ land ” I looked to see if I had an ancestor with   this as a surname – I did (but only for a short time) as her name had been transcribed wrongly and she was a laud not “ land ” which explains why I couldn’t find records on her. So, this was not an option. I don’t have any information of any “ land girls” during the war so this wasn’t an option. Therefore, I have gone with my great grandfather and his family who “worked the land ” as agricultural/farm labourers.  Welcome to week 6 of my ramblings, i'm still here are you? DAY 36 - Tuesday 21st April 2020 I wouldn't say that things have got bad but yea i'm making jokes (according to the kids they are not funny but the best they can expect from me! Gee thanks!) SO, as they don't think they are funny i'm laughing at them myself.  I can so agree with this today didn't start well, it started before I went to sleep last night (well this morning) as I was awakw until gone 3am with pain in both of my knees. At 6am (ish) Starla and Phoebe were fighting on my bed and kept using my knees as a trampoline. I got back to sleep and what felt like a short time later the doorbell went and woke me up again (it was gone 9:30am). B got my parcel from the doorstep. I got up and woke the older 2 up. I have no idea what the voices in my head are upto, or where my personality has gone! I have had multiple cups of coffee (made by the kids) and it hasn't helped with my tiredn
