coronavirus (covid-19, CV19) we will survive this (or die trying to....) week 15

This is soooo my house right now!

DAY 99 - Tuesday 23rd June 2020

I would love to say that this is how i spent my day but no, i don't have the patience to do something like this, nor am I that bored.

I haven't been well all day (or all of last night), within an hour or so of taking the meds (see yesterdays  post here) i had major stomach cramps, was feeling and being sick, had an upset stomach and was sleeping on and off. I said it would happen. I rang the docs back and they have told me to stop taking them and have upped the dose of the ibuprofen i take as i am ok with them.

I managed to get a loan to get a new Fridge-freezer and have ordered one, its a bit taller than the old one so we may struggle to get it in through the cut out of wall from house to what was the outside cupboard as there is no longer a door to the cupboard either! BUT this slightly bigger one was £30 cheaper than the smaller one - where is the logic in that??? I have no idea. It won't be here until Thursday though, so for now the freezer is duct taped together as its that full and i don't want to lose any more food than the few bits i have done.

In the process of my laptop dying i have lost all of my family tree documents linked to 2020, and this includes my 52 ancestors in 52 weeks stories and the 52 photos in 52 weeks documents, which I was adding to here and going to turn into a book, i now only have the documents that have been uploaded and not the book template version or the weeks pre-written! So much for me doing them in advance and saving time, it was a good idea whilst it lasted.

I have been online shopping and ordered some camping bits for me and B to use on scout camps etc, they were in the sale. Mine are purple (what other colour would i buy??) and B's are a teal/turquoise type colour that match his camp blanket. Just got to wait for them to arrive. At least he will know what is his stuff as all similar shades, but yes i will add his name to them.

DAY 100 - Wednesday 24th June 2020

Day 100, triple figures, not sure how we have got this far without 1 of us killing another! K has been to the shop once (he had a face mask on) but didn't like it as couldn't breathe and almost had an Asthma attack. The only other place he has been is to his Dad's house, i do feel for him, but its the best option as he doesn't want to get CV19 as he has chest issues as it is.

This pic does sum up my mood and feelings of it all, seriously had enough now. When i get to the had enough its no longer fun linked to anything its not! As i become more stroppy than i usually am!

Today i have upset the teenage drama queen (also known as J) as he was asked to help clear the old freezer (stuff on top of it) and help to get it outside as it has to be out by 7am tomorrow ready for the guys bringing the old one to take away. Their Dad came to help and J threw a paddy he didn't know he had been asked to clear it, he didn't know how to help get it outside etc. In the end his Dad and K struggled to do it whilst i stood and watched as can't do much with my knee.

I sold the travel mobility scooter that i had bought months ago and didnt feel safe on as it was only 3 wheels. The boys Dad took the money and put in his bank for me as his is in town and mine is over an hrs drive away (i really should change to a local one), he then transferred it back to my account from his.

As it was nice we had a BBQ and the boys Dad stayed for it as well. We had to buy a small disposable to go alongside our small one or we wouldn't have been able to cook it all. I do have a bigger fire pit on order but says 3rd July for delivery.

B is spending the night in a tent in the garden again, lets hope this time he lasts longer than the 4am and doesn't get soaking wet again.

DAY 101 - Thursday 25th June 2020

Seen as i didn't stock pile loo roll like half of the world did, i am now at the point of rationing what we have left! HAHA! can you imagine doing this with 3 kids? not a chance! Good job the shops have been getting stock of it back it.

I still can't work out how a pandemic that causes a cough and breathing difficulties translates into buy up as much loo roll as you can and stock pile it meaning others can't buy it!

The freezer arrived and the delivery guys were polite (unlike the last time i ordered something from this company). They left it by the back door as agreed, and i waited for the boys Dad to come nad help get it in the house. As i suspected with it being bigger it wont fit through the gap in the wall. I told P to hit the wall with hammer to break bit more of it off but he said no. K said that we needed to tip the top towards my back door and the bottom towards the gap in the wall (like this /) so that it could be lifted through at that type of angle. We had to get the polystyrene corner pieces and tape them back on the freezer so it didnt damage them or the glass in my door. 10/10 for K as we did what he said and we got in the cupboard.

Yes 2020 is the year of the rat, me and B went to Carlisle in February for the Chinese New Year celebrations. It was a lovely day. However, this does NOT mean that i like the creatures/rodents! As per my previous posts my cats have brought back loads of them and left them in the garden for me. Today the local councillor for the estate has put out a public safety message that there are RATS everywhere on the estate and pest control are aware it. Some of them are in and around an old dilapidated building and others are in and around the pigeon huts and trees and long grassed areas. He has requested that birds are not fed in gardens, plants and trees and grass are kept tidy and short, recycling is placed in boxes and household waste is bagged and binned and not left in gardens to and reduce them. Many people have said that they have been putting poison down to kill them off - this is a big worry linked to my cats bringing them home as i dont want them ill from rat poison! BUT at least i know it's not just me that has seen them, i cant say ive seen them alive as the cats bring them back dead.

Today i have ordered myself a new tent and some other bits linked to it in the sale, plus i got cashback and a discount voucher in total a saving of £30 (not including the sale price) better than nothing.

DAY 102 - Friday 26th June 2020

This to me looks more like the cat is stuck in the box than fell off it! But hey ho. I would love to be able to fit in a cereal box (i think) but i know it would never happen! Maybe a big box that all the smaller boxes are packed into for shop delivery would work!

Last night was warm and muggy, it rained and thundered. I have a very wet tent and sleeping bag that were in the garden and as it has rained on and off most of the day today i have no way of getting them dry - i'm not going out inbetween the rain on a rescue mission as it will just be my luck it will start again and i will get soaked!

I received a call from B's class teacher today. She was ringing to tell me that he had won the "community Gym" competition the school had ran linked to the work the kids had done before lock-down. His power-point entry was in the top 10 that were submitted to the council and the Mayor was judging them picked his as the best one. His teacher said she was so proud of him as he has worked so hard during lock-down (and not only with school work but with other bits and pieces he has added to his online journal). The story of the competition is going in the local newspaper next week and they wanted a photo of B to go with it and a quote from him about winning. I sent these off to the school. The image to the right is of a sew-on badge/patch from a company called Pawprint Family they make and sell badges and are linked to scouting. I bought this badge at the beginning of lock-down for him working hard, but it seems just that i give it to him now linked to this. Well done B, keep up the good work!

B and K have gone to their Dad's leaving J here with me. Within 30minutes of the younger 2 leaving i had sent P a message asking for him to bring of those 2 back and he could take J as he wasn't listening or doing as asked, was arguing and throwing a strop, stormed off upstairs and allsorts. I'm sure he thinks the world owes him something! I then saw the pic to the left shared by a friend and i had to copy it, it is sooooo true.

The weather has turned nasty again, it brightened up abit during today but the sky is a very dark grey no matter which way you look and i dont think it will be long before the heavens open again, but i dont think it will make it less muggy!

DAY 103 - Saturday 27th June 2020

I have to admit that i had to do a double take at this picture before i saw it. I think its very good camouflage.

There is only me and J in the house as the other two are at their Dad's, it seems very quiet. However, J has spent most of the day in his pit in the land of nod! So much for him being here to help me linked to my knee! i've not been able to do much at all and even getting food and drink has been a bit of a struggle.

The weather has been cold, wet and windy all of the day, so much for the heatwave staying. Hopefully it does return to us before long. I did manage to get out and pick a bowl full of strawberries and raspberries from Bs plants, and gave them to the neighbour as they would have gone off before B gets home. We had to do a dash out between rain and wind to get the tent in as it looked like it was wanting to take off. I now have  this to dry as well!

DAY 104 - Sunday 38th June 2020

I could see the cat's looking at me like this, there again they have done linked to us being in their "hotel" all day every day!

As per yesterday the weather has been really horrid, with strong wind and heavy rain.

I have sat and sewed more badges to B's blanket - i didnt realise i had got him so many, but i guess once these are all on i wont have many to add for the time being and any others will be added at the time he gets them so will be easier. My fingers are really hurting from where the needle has gone into them instead of the badge (some are very hard to sew through). It's looking and good but is getting really heavy already. Once his is done i have mine to re-do as i got new blanket and have all badges to sew on it and i have more than B does.

At the beginning of all this J wrote a song about CV19, well he made the words to fit a theme song from a kids TV show. I can't remember if i added it back then or not (and i can't be bothered looking) so it may be here again.

"Corona virus theme" (phineas and ferb) I have no soul😂
There's a 104 days of self isolation and Corona comes along just to end that, the annual problem for all generations is finding a good way to spend it!!! LIKE MAYBE! Building a box fort or fighting your brother, or climbing out your bedroom window. Discovering a cure for Corona virus or giving your grandma a shower.
Doon doon doon, Surfing meme websites, creating survival plans or locating secret chocolates, there're over here! Finding out your gay, painting Corona masks or driving your parents insane. PHINEAS!!
As you can see there's a whole lot of stuff to do before we die!! Come one Perry! So stick with us cause phineas and ferb are gonna do it aaallll!!! So stick with us cause phineas and ferb are gonnaaaa doo it all!!
Mam phineas and ferb have Corona virus! *guitar blast*

If you dont know the TV show (or theme tune) you will need to look it up and listen to it.

DAY 105 - Monday 29th June 2020

Oh yes, the cats have thought this i'm sure. They have taken up residence upstairs and spit and hiss if we disturb them. I would love to fix a micro camera onto their collars to actually see what they do get up when they are at home or actually outside on adventures. It would just be my luck though that they would lose the camera or spend the day asleep so doing nothing. I bet between them they have got a secret diary and plans to "take back over their hotel". LOL!

i actually went shopping today (properly not just the corner shop), i am still in loads of pain from my knee of nearly 2 weeks ago and this hasn't helped but it got me out of the house. The shops i went in to be fair didn't have long ques or many people so wasnt too bad. I did go the wrong way down a few aisles but didn't realise until afterwards. Oops!

Witchy-woo was at the vets today to be neutered. The op went well. They said she would be sleepy for the rest of today and maybe tomorrow - Hahaha! she's as nutter and into everything as she was before her op. I just hope she doesnt do any damage to herself.

Ks elbow keep giving way and hes in lots of pain with it, it seems to have been getting worse over the past 2 weeks. We will have to see what happens on this!

School work has been done and all seems to be.
