coronavirus (covid-19, CV19) we will survive this (or die trying to....) week 14

BUT they also became extinct as couldnt wash its hands!!!

DAY 92 - Tuesday 16th June 2020

This pic is quite apt for today as the boys godmother rang    me she has had enough of lockdown, trying to home school her 2 children, the youngest whose 9 is not interested in the sligthest in work and wont do anything, she was beside herself over it. I told her get her him to write down what he does daily even if only 1 sentence - like i helped with the dishwasher. He has agreed that he will write a letter to B as well.

I joined in the cub scout meeting and we were making boats from scouring pads. they worked out well. i was asked about a virtual camp and would i help with it. Not done much else really.

DAY 93 - Wednesday 17th June 2020

HaHaHa! this is really funny. I could see my dog doing this, and the amount of medication i have in the house a combination would be lethal! I do like the picture though. And sadly, my dragon isnt in the kitchen he's in the dining room and he's not that scary unless he puffs up at you or tries to bite you!                                                                                                                                                                                   What a day today has been!!! We had planned to go to Fleswick Bay (a known Pirate bay in our area.) It's not far (3.4miles) from our house, so i said i would go on my scooter and K and B could walk. This morning it was grey skies and thunder rolling around, K said he wasnt coming, B said we were still going as we had everything ready and if we got we wet we did. lol! So me and him set off with bright yellow rucksacks and hivis wasitcoats, food and drink, sugary snacks, waterproofs and jumpers, suncream etc. The first problem we hit was no drop curbs when we got up to the main road and had to come back, the 2nd problem we hit was no footpaths so B had to walk on the road, but we could be seen. It started to warm up and was very hazy, it would have been even hotter if the haze wasnt there. The map told us we needed to go one way, yet i was sure we needed to go another, a man asked if we were ok and when we told him he confirmed which way we needed to go (mine not the map). We saw various birds including magpies and ravens, we saw cows and sheep in the fields. We got going down the road and as we approached the light house at St Bees we found a padlocked gate and a kissing gate beside it - there was no way the scooter was going round the kissing gate so we took it to bits and passed it through between us and then re-built it. We followed the path and then had to go across a field - What fun! It wasnt too bad on the shorter grass but the longer and bumpy parts were a nightmare as was dodging the cow poo! We came to a bird viewing point and stopped.

There were quite a few different birds flying about but we couldn't really get very close to them. The scooter got stuck on uneven ground and we had to have help from a passing walker, nice gentleman. We carried on through the field of cows (which i hate with a passion!) and as we were about to head down what we thought was a slope B told me to stop as it was steps! We had arrived at the steps to Fleswick Bay. It was lovely views from the top.

It was worth the journey there, it was so quiet and peaceful. However, when we decided we were going home my scooter decided that it was going to die and wouldn't move! We had very little mobile signal and what we did have kept dropping in and out. So i sent B off on his own to the lighthouse to get help. Bless him, he ran most of the way and came back with a lady who i explained the problem to and her husband was on his way to help as well. they pushed the scooter back through the fields and i struggled with a slow walk back to the light house. the thunder started again and then it trashed it down. This wasnt the adventure we had planned but was a lovely day.

DAY 94 - Thursday 18th June 2020

Oh yes, it certainly is. This couldn't have fallen on a better day. After    yesterdays long walk and me being in agony and my knee really swollen i can't do much, i didn't sleep well due to pain and i have multiple cups of coffee to even think straight. The boys have been really good and kept making them for me, as well as getting me food and anything else i needed. Even just getting up from sitting is hurting as is climbing the stairs.                                                                                                                                                                                                                              my new bed topper arrived and it didnt seem as thick as advertised, but thought would give it a try. K sorted it and put in the bed for me. Lets see what happens.                                                                                                                                                                                                       Due to my knee being bad i wasnt able to cook the planned meal for tea and the boys said that they didn't feel happy cooking chicken etc. So we managed to come up with something else to eat that they did most of it between them. Bless them. They are good lads really.

I've not done much apart from sit and be in pain. i did some more on the family tree, but not much.

DAY 95 - Friday 19th June 2020

It most probably did, it has been opened and closed so many times the past few weeks/months. K came in with the light cover in his hand - apparently it fell off when he got the mayo off the top shelf, so it seems the fridge is self harming and we were unable to put it back together, it was fighting us.
It does seem that i am going crazy from being stuck at home and in isolation. Me,the microwave and toaster were having a lovely chat about this whilst i drank my morning coffee, we all agreed that things are getting bad. We didn't ask the washing machine or tumble dryer as they always puts a different spin on things. The fridge and freezer are acting very hostile and cold towards the rest of us. The iron tried to calm us down by saying that nothing is too pressing and all creases will be removed in the end. The hoover was very unsympathetic and told me to just suck it up, the fan on the other hand said things will soon blow over. I asked the toilet what it thought about it all and looked a little bit flushed, the bathroom door said i was knob and to get a grip of things. The front and back doors agreed i was becoming unhinged, most of the electronics said i need to unplug and ignore it all and the curtains told me to pull myself together!!! LOL!
This picture isn't quite right as the bird didn't escape, Starla has killed
off yet another bird. I think we are now up at 4 or 5 in the past couple of weeks. Not to mention the mice and rats that Flame has killed off. Poor creatures/rodents don't stand a chance against these cats, and even less so when Phoebe goes outside as she is pure evil. I'm sure she is going to come back with a seagul.
This is funny, WHO let the dogs out is also a pop and party song, but it fits the current situation. The level has been reduced from 4 down to 3, but restrictions are still in place, the goverenment dont have a clue, they say 1 thing one day and something else the next which contradicts the day before that. Many other countries have stated that they have now got increased deaths again after lifting lockdown. The Uk is going to follow i'm sure of it.

I still dont like the new blogger some times it lets me do the pics with text wrapped around them other it doesnt and it looks stupid!

DAY 96 - Saturday 20th June 2020

Day 96 is maybe abit late to try and talk to the cats about CV19, it probably she should have been done at the start, but like most things its better late than never. They didn't seem to grasp what i was saying, phoebe started chasing her tail round in circles, flame hissed and spat at the dog as it came towards her and starla went and sat on the windowsill meowing to go out. Oh well i tried.

This is about the most productive thing i've done as my knee is still really bad from the other day and i can't walk much and it hurts to keep it in one place for too long. K has been here helping me with stuff bless him. I'm hoping that if i ring docs on monday i can get some stronger pain meds again to try and ease it. i have a few here i've found but not many of them.

My parcel of badges arrived from USA today, the postman woke me up banging on the door with them. I've done well as photographed the ones for sale and put on the scout/guides FB page and have sold loads already. So buying the "swap packs" was a good idea. B has far too many CV19 badges to be on his blanket, so not sure if i need make his teddy a camp blanket with them on, or if i sew to his sleeping bag etc. I need speak to him on it on monday. I also need to remove some from there are randomly stitched to make more space and put on neater.

DAY 97 - Sunday 21st June 2020

IF ONLY! Theres a few problems with this - 1. I dont have a desk, my laptop sits on my lap so i cant hide under my own lap. 2. i can't bend to get in the position of hiding due to knee pain. 3. i dont like red wine. 4 its too early for alcohol. 5. i cant drink at the moment due to high dose pain killers for knee.  I'm pretty sure that i have hidden under a desk like this when i worked in an office but not with a bottle of wine!

K was up until gone midnight last night and then was up at 9am to sort the dog and went back to bed. He also drank b's drink (hell is going to be open 2moro). J has managed to access my mobile phone account and change settings - i received confirmation from the supplier, rang them to be told changed on phone named J! He has denied doing this. He also was up until stupid o'clock playing music and keeping B awake. The joys. i'm going to have 3 grumpy arsey kids 2moro.

My laptop died a slow death, following a windows update. no matter what i did it wouldnt work. i came close to throwing it out of a window, but i cant afford a new window, there again i can't afford the £400 ive spent on buying a new laptop that i can get tomorrow!

DAY 98 - Monday 22nd June 2020

Oh yes, not just strangers, but anyone, the postman, take away driver etc. ooohhh another human being (well i think they are human!) The same applies when there is a strange noisevoutside. what is it, where is it coming from etc and we are all at the window or door, but there again so are all the neighbours. This is what lockdown has down to us all!                                                                                                                                                                                  I have been and got my new laptop, but wasnt as simple as we thought it would be. We went to set it up for it to ask for username and password - errrr new laptops dont do this until you have set it up. We couldnt get hold of the company as online chat not available due to cv19, phone lines tell you to use online chat or just ring, so we went back to the store. i was fully ready for an argument but the manager was so helpful, tried to find others of same price and size in stock, there wasnt any, she rang the company to check if it had been registered etc, told me what to do to sort it. we came home and rang the help desk back and they talked us through sorting it. Apparently 1 in so many are tested in the factory and this was 1 of them. they are meant to be re-set but this wasnt. just my luck. It is now workign and good job as the old 1 proper died and said couldnt boot so we cant even get anything off it. i'm gutted as my life is on that laptop!

Add to the above, K asked if he could plug his laptop into tv, i said yes, just as he pulled the wire from base of tv all of the electrics went off in the house! WTF??? We tried to get them back on but no luck, in the end we had to unplug everything downstairs and re-set the switches, then we sat and put 1 plug back in and turned on if it didnt trip the switches we left it and tried another. We eventually found it to be the fridge-freezer. FFS! We managed to get most of the food into the other freezer, we have lost some bread, ice cubes and mince but saved most. I now need to find more money to get a new freezer.

if its not 1 thing its another. I swear the whole of this year is infected by evil!

My doctors think they know me better than i know myself and have issued pain meds that i was taken off 4years ago (apparently there is no reason as to why i can't take them on the system), i told her they made me ill but she said we have to try them. I give it 24hrs.....

end of week 14. we can now go out but it still seems unsafe
